As a volunteer you will meet new people and work with other folks who are interested in our community.
You can choose to:
Be a greeter:
Be a greeter one day each month at the museum. You will always work with another volunteer so you will never have to do this alone.
Responsibilities include:
- Become a member and get to know the layout of the museum!
- Open and close the museum.
- Greet each guest and make sure that each one signs the guest book.
- Direct guests (if requested) to specific collections.
Serve on a committee:
We need many and varied skills to keep the museum open. Whether you like working with the public, organizing or displaying the items in the museum, researching, or helping to raise money, the museum can use your skills! If you are handy with tools and can fix things – we can also use your skills! Contact us and tell us what interests you and let’s get started.

Serve on the Board of Directors:
The Board of Directors meet once a month to discuss the museum and make decisions on its future. Board members are also actively involved in the day to day running of the museum.
