The camp located about three miles west of Timberville was in place for two summers—three months in 1944 and five months in 1945—primarily to supply much needed labor for farmers and businesses in the area after so many of the local workforce left to join the military services.Greg was one of the first speakers to participant in the Museum Lecture Series which began in 2009.
